Beast of Reincarnation Editions and Game Pass

Choosing how to play Beast of Reincarnation is a storefront question as much as a combat one. The single-player action RPG launched August 4, 2026 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, with day-one Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass access. This page compares Standard and Digital Deluxe, explains what Game Pass includes, and clarifies cosmetics versus gameplay content so you do not overpay for systems that ship in every version.

Standard Edition

US storefronts list Standard at $59.99. Standard includes the full base campaign: Emma and Koo combat, all launch stages, Nushi bosses, difficulty modes, and post-launch patches tied to the base SKU. Everything in Guides, Builds, and Walkthrough applies to Standard owners and Game Pass subscribers alike.

Buy Standard if you want permanent ownership without cosmetic bundles, or if you already dislike paying for skins and currency packs.

Digital Deluxe Edition

Digital Deluxe lists at $69.99 in US previews—a $10 uplift over Standard. Deluxe extras are cosmetic and convenience focused, not a separate story campaign. Typical Deluxe package elements reported across Xbox and PlayStation listings include:

• Alternate Koo skins such as Black and Brown Shiba looks
• Emma cosmetics like Oni’s Hat
• The Big Dipper sword cosmetic or early weapon skin
• Amber currency bundles (commonly listed around 100,000 on console Deluxe pages)
• Vegetable seedlings or similar convenience items

Steam, PlayStation, and Xbox pre-order bonus lines differed slightly by region before launch—Brown Ku skins and smaller Amber grants appeared on some Steam pre-order tiles—so always read the live store bullet list for your account region before checkout.

Deluxe does not unlock Hard mode exclusives, unique Nushi, or multiplayer. It does not replace skill trees, Spirit Stones, or Bloom Arts progression.

Game Pass Day One

Beast of Reincarnation joined Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass on launch day. Subscribers can install the base game on Xbox Series and PC without buying Standard. Game Pass access covers the campaign and launch patches. Deluxe cosmetics and Amber bundles generally require a separate Deluxe purchase or upgrade SKU unless a later promotion bundles them.

Xbox Play Anywhere lets a Microsoft account move between Xbox Series and Microsoft Store PC installs. Steam purchases do not share that Play Anywhere path; Steam Cloud applies only if enabled for the Steam build.

If you already pay for Ultimate, start on Game Pass, learn combat via How to Play, then decide later whether Deluxe cosmetics are worth $10–70 depending on upgrade pricing in your region.

Unlock Timing Reminder

Developers confirmed a global unlock at 00:00 UTC on August 4, 2026. That is 5:00 PM PDT / 8:00 PM EDT on August 3 in North America, and morning of August 4 across East Asia. Pre-load was available on Steam and consoles before that timestamp. There is no paid early access that skips the global unlock.

After You Install

1. Confirm SSD space—PC needs about 45 GB on an SSD per System Requirements.

Beast of Reincarnation’s combat identity does not change between Standard and Game Pass. Spend money on ownership and cosmetics preferences, not on imagined gameplay gates.
